2-D Shaped Paintings (2008-2018)
The Apple Tree Clothesline series is inspired by early memories of laundry day at my grandmother Lillian's house. In fact, two full days a week were devoted to laundry (in a wringer-washer) and ironing, and ironing included tea towels. It wasn't until she was in her 60's (my age) that she received an automatic washing machine.
