Lagetta Series
These are a few of a series of paintings and drawings that were inspired by the patterned wood of the Lagetta (lacewood) plant. This series was created in 2006 and 20007, marking a notable shift in my work, both in medium (from oil to encaustic) and in style (from representational to abstract).
